With a mix of beautiful beaches, watersports and buzzing streets that attract tropical fun seekers, there are a myriad of things to do in Bentota. This popular resort town sits between the Bentota lagoon, the river and the ocean on the South West coast of Sri Lanka, and is at the centre of the watersport action in the region. Despite the activity, endangered sea turtles come to nest on the beach and many conservation projects operate in the area.
